...for an Alfa that Chris Harris could get excited about. I'm glad that one has finally arrived.

On one hand he made me want a 4C really bad, on the other after the F40/F50 video every other video of him seems so normal and tame. I am still not sure about the 4C price though. It has a lot of engineering behind it, but it lacks things that most people find normal, like comfy seats, heating, climate control and it falls in the Lotus trap why I think they are stugling. Most people don't want such special car like the Exige or the 4C. They like fast, but comfy like what the Cayman offers for around the same price as the two. We here on Jalopnik/enthusiast care about weight, but most of the buyers don't. I don't want to be a bad propeth, but Alfa's revival will not come with the 4C. And still if I had to choose between a second hand Exige or a new 4C I am not sure I will take the 4C, because handlingbylotus.

True. Alfa's revival will come with a proper saloon, and more importantly the Spider (as that will be a bread and butter car, rather than the limited edition special that is the 4C).

The 4C should lay the groundwork, get some publicity out there rather than just turning up unannounced. If they can build on that, it'll be a start.

I was so into it....until he said the evil words: double. clutch. gearbox.

Yeah, but that's the way of the world these days. I'd rather a good old fashioned manual, but it's no longer a deal breaker for me if a modern car doesn't come with one. Especially a high performance special like the 4C.

To be honest, it may be due to packaging constraints. It says in the video that it's very tight, and they may not have been able to find space for a linkage from the gearstick to the 'box. A DCT just needs a route for wires.

But on the other hand, you can replace these seats with Recaro's or similar. And, if I rely on me driving the Abarth, I never used the AC, even when it's 90F (or 40C). I just drive with the windows open. Not gonna loose some power over some lame comfort, am I.
